Rainbow sharks are a slightly aggressive fish and are often better kept in an aquarium with fish of similar size / species.

They will find their own territory in the aquarium and will occasionally be found to bully smaller fish.

With their unique black/blue sharp slim bodies and bright red fins Rainbow Sharks offer colour and uniqueness to any aquarium.

Rainbow Sharks grow to roughly 30cm and are best to be suited to a aquarium of 3 ft plus. They grow slowly but can be territorial as they grow.

Rainbow sharks like a varied diet ranging between live foods, plants, flakes and frozen foods.

Soft to medium water is best suited to them with PH levels of 6.8 – 7.4

You will often find them to the rear of the aquarium often hiding behind logs, rocks, caves & plants.

They are a lot livelier at night time and will often dart along the bottom of the aquarium.
